We are Heidi and Peter Jacobson and live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia just an hour from Washington D.C. We have been involved in many aspects of dogs from 4-H dog project leaders, obedience, agility, conformation as well as serving on the Board of Directors and Co Show Chair at the Badger Kennel Club in Wisconsin. We are members of the Baltimore Maryland Shetland Sheepdog Club.

We have had the honor of being owned by many top dogs: Ch Acorn Darmil Hanky Panky, BISS CH Darmil All Dollars No Sense (Award of Merit winner at Westminster breeder owner handled, Eukanuba invitee), and MBISS GCH Jade Mist Darmil Stolen Moment (Ranked #11 in 2010). We also are proud of our "Best on Couch" champions and our "Best in Chewy" champions.

At Darmil, we believe in quality not quantity and only have one or two well planned litters a year. We are proud to have been one of the top breeders in 2002.

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of MBISS CH. Darmil All Dollars No Sense AOM to Rainbow Bridge. She was the heart of Darmil, and her show career took us on a ride we will never forget. More importantly, we will miss that mischievous personality that has graced our lives for thirteen years. She was our constant companion, and there is a hole in our hearts that will never be replaced.

Darmil "North" is currently under construction as we relocate to Vermont. We are having fun building a new home and settling on 5 beautiful acres overlooking the Adirondack mountains.

Charlotte continues to tear up the ring with another Best of Breed and a GROUP 3 under breeder-judge Janet Turnage-Nahikian. She is shown as always by her owner, Jen Milani.

Charlotte at age 8 decided to grace the dog show scene again, and takes Best of Breed over some incredible competition her first time back out. Thank you judge Joy Brewster at the Pocono Mountain KC.

Danni is back in action taking back-to-back group placements at the Vermont Cluster under judges Maida Puterman and Monica Canestrini.
